Professor Vassilis Hadjianastassiou review

Prof. Hadjianastassiou has done major surgery for me, saving my life. I had cancer of my kidney extending into my main vein in the abdomen (the Vena Cava) and he managed to open the big vein and remove the cancer and the L kidney and I am still alive and well 8 years after! In keeping consistency with the other reviewers I found Prof to be an excellent professional but also a human being who cares for his patient.And not only that: his care about me is continuous, so after 8 years, now in 2024, he intervened after my request, and made all the necessary arrangements to have me operated successfully as soon as possible in order to to correct the stenosis of my right renal artery so that my remaining right kidney can be saved. I will be grateful to him as long as I live.

13th July 2024Mr. Rohit Shetty – Consultant Spinal Surgeon and his team carried out major spinal surgery on me, due to cervical stenosis and myelopathy - C4/C5 on the 6th of June 2024 at Whittington Hospital, London (Cervical Spondylosis ). I am of course really frightened of major surgery due to my advanced age (76 Years) but Mr. Rohit Shetty carefully explained the whole procedure to me in detail so that I was totally confident to go ahead with the surgery without any hesitation. I was extremely impressed in the way the whole procedure was clearly explained to me. The whole procedure went extremely well and I am so thankful to Mr. Shetty.Mr. Rohit Shetty also carried out major Spinal Surgery (L4/L5 Posterior Decompression and Fusion) also at Whittington Hospital in November 2023 which went exactly as planned.
