Dental Insurance

Dental insurance is administered by Arkansas Blue Cross and Blue Shield

Vision Insurance

The University offers two vision plan options—the Basic Plan and the Enhanced Plan. Both plans are administered by EyeMed.

FMLA and Disability Insurance

If you are unable to work due to a non-work-related illness or injury, or childbirth, short-term and long-term disability insurance provides financial protection by replacing a portion of your pre-disability earnings. UAMS provides basic coverage with employee option to buy additional, optional coverage. See below for separate long-term disability plan for Faculty Group Practice members and Housestaff/Resident Physicians.
